Croeso Award
In Memory of Ian Edwards in recognition of Services to tourism and hospitality
As part of Year of Croeso, a special “Croeso Award” is presented in memory of the late Ian Edwards, Chief Executive of The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales in recognition of his services to tourism and hospitality.
Best Hotel
The 5* hotel and former home of Lord Snowdon, is just outside Caernarfon. Since Daniel and Annie took over in 2019, the hotel has been beautifully restored, featuring 11 uniquely designed bedrooms. Since taking over in Plas Dinas, they have set new standards in hospitality excellence, off ering customer service that goes above and beyond.

Meadow Springs Country & Leisure Park is a 5* Touring and Holiday Home Park. Opened in February 2022, its low volume, low density touring, static caravans and holiday lodges are designed to blend in with the surrounding countryside of the beautiful Trannon Valley, where the park is sited.

The iconic Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways is the second oldest and longest heritage railway in Britain, celebrating its 70th anniversary of preservation in 2025. Supported by over 500 dedicated volunteers and a core staff of 80.
Best Activity, Experience or Tour
Summit Centre is located in the heart of the Welsh Valleys, south of Merthyr Tydfi l and is overlooked by beautiful hills and woodland. The centre boasts stunning indoor climbing walls, bouldering, group accommodation, a café, outdoor play area,a man-made caving system and a wide range of on-site and off -site adventurous activities.
Bro a Byd (Those going the extra mile on Environmental Sustainability)
Cambrian Cottages is a new business, owned and operated by Libby and Peter Newth. They began trading in January 2024 and provide three purpose built self-catering apartments, formed within a newly converted 19th century barn. They are committed to ensure the highest standards of sustainability and to the process of continual improvement.
Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award
Stangwrach Holiday Cottages are 5* highly accessible properties with acres of beautiful gardens in an idyllically peaceful setting with glorious views of the open Carmarthenshire countryside. Best Place to Eat
With a monthly changing menu, designed around the seasons and using the freshest local Welsh produce, the award-winning Gunroom Restaurant off ers an elegant and romantic fi ne dining experience in a historic country house set in the heart of Eryri.
Rising Star
Charly joined Lan y Môr’s sister venue, The Grove, as demi chef de rang in March 2023, quickly earning two promotions, before joining Lan y Môr in June 2024 as Head Waitress. Once again, she led from the front delighting customers and in July 2024, Charly was promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager. Her constant smile, nurturing approach, and dedication make her a true role model within the industry.
Best Event
One of the largest agricultural events in Europe, the Royal Welsh Show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.
Best Dog Friendly Business
The overarching brand is known as ‘Plas Estate’ and the mission is to offer “the most luxurious and beloved dog friendly places to stay in the UK”. Plas Estate is designed for holidays with dogs including their V.I.Pup Experience where dogs receive a welcome pack of treats and essentials to ensure a luxury stay.
